4. Phantoms
Different tuning
Drop E♭ +4 ¢Measured
Notes
How to get there from the album's F Standard: String 8 down a whole step (F → E♭); the other strings stay.
The eighth string drops to E♭ in the tab; TuneLit's audio check suggests E. Worth an ear check.
The lowest string drops a whole step to E♭ (E♭ B♭ E♭ A♭ D♭ G♭ B♭ E♭) in the Songsterr tab; a first-listen review also notes the song dropping far below its opening riff. TuneLit's audio check hears E rather than E♭ for the dropped string; no other source names E, so the tab stands, but check it by ear.

How to get there from the album's F Standard: String 8 down a whole step (F → E♭), String 7 down a whole step (B♭ → A♭); the other strings stay.
The eighth and seventh strings drop a whole step, to E♭ and A♭.
The two lowest strings drop a whole step, to E♭ and A♭, so the bottom three strings sound E♭ A♭ E♭ under the album's upper strings. The measurement found almost nothing to hold on to in this song, so its pitch is the album's.

Questions
What tuning is Immutable in?
Meshuggah recorded Immutable (2022) in F Standard at concert pitch (A 440), measured by TuneLit on the CD. 6 songs use other tunings or pitches, listed song by song on this page.
Why does Immutable sound out of tune with my guitar?
Light the Shortening Fuse sits about 15 cents sharp (A ≈ 444), so a guitar tuned to A 440 clashes with it. The Tune buttons on this page set the tuner's reference to match the record, so you only tune the strings.
