Before we measured, sources said: F♯ Standard, with no pitch given (official).
Carpenter's first album on an eight-string, in the tuning it came with: F♯ B E A D G B E, whose top six strings are plain E Standard. Tabs put Chino Moreno's guitar in Drop C on Royal, Sextape and 976-EVIL and in Drop D on Beauty School, and Sergio Vega's bass mostly in Drop C. The CD sits at concert pitch (about 1 ¢ sharp) and no song strays more than 4 ¢. TuneLit's audio check cannot judge this album: the Drop C bass plays below the eight-string's low F♯, which its method does not allow for.
