Before we measured, sources said: Drop D, with no pitch given (widely reported).
The move to Drop D: eight songs in it, four still in Drop C♯ (Shadow of the Day, No More Sorrow, In Between, In Pieces). The MP3 copy of the CD sits at concert pitch (−1.4 ¢), and every song but one reads within about 6 ¢ of it, so a tuner at A 440 is all you need. The exception, No More Sorrow, read about 21 ¢ sharp with low confidence.

How to get there from the album's Drop D: Every string down a half step.
TuneLit's audio check cannot confirm the low string: the record's lowest notes include a B under the guitar's C♯, so something in the mix goes below it.
Tabbed in Drop C♯; the popular chord sheet tunes down a half step (E♭ A♭ D♭ G♭ B♭ E♭), the same upper five strings.

6. What I've Done
Drop DMeasured
Notes
The rhythm guitar's Drop D carries the riff; the lead lines also work in E Standard, and the popular chord sheet for piano-style strumming uses standard tuning with a capo at fret 3. TuneLit's audio check agrees with the low D.

7. Hands Held High

Notes
The one Songsterr guitar tab is in E Standard, while its bass, and the record, go down to D; the album's Drop D covers both.

The audio check agrees with C♯. TuneLit read this song about 21 ¢ sharp, but with low confidence, so it keeps the album's concert pitch; nudge the reference up if it sounds flat against you.
Back in Drop C♯ on the Songsterr tab.

TuneLit's audio check sides with Drop C♯ (confidence 0.999): the open C♯ rings, and nothing sounds under it.
