Offset from concert pitch (A 440). Spread: the middle half of the songs, when four or more share the album's pitch. Confidence: how well the notes agree with one grid.

Before we measured, sources said: E Standard, with no pitch given (community).

Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, like Permanent Vacation and Pump. The tabs keep everything in E Standard except Livin' on the Edge, which drops the low string to D. TuneLit measured the CD right at concert pitch, with every song within about 7 cents of A 440. Intro is a 23-second collage of drums, voices and a Walk This Way sample, with no guitar to tune to.

    Notes

How to get there from the album's E Standard: String 6 down a whole step (E → D); the other strings stay.

Drop D: lower only the 6th string to D. TuneLit's semitone check from the audio also hears D as the lowest open string.

Guitar World says the song was recorded in Drop D, and all three guitar parts of the main Songsterr tab, and its bass part, drop the low string to D; only the solo is written in standard.
