D Standardについて
すべての弦がE Standardより全音低くなります：D G C F A D。ダウンチューニングしたスタンダード系のチューニングでは、知っているコードフォームがすべてそのまま使えます。曲が低く聞こえ、弦が少しゆるく感じられるだけです。
D Standardは、慣れ親しんだフォームをそのまま使いながら、より重い音になります。グランジ、メタル、シンガーソングライターの音楽でよく使われ、弦がゆるいぶん、大きなチョーキングもしやすくなります。

レギュラーチューニングからの合わせ方

選ばれる理由
D Standardが選ばれる理由
D StandardのD G C F A Dは、すべての弦を全音下げます。D、G、Cの曲では、スタンダードチューニングでEやAの曲に低い開放弦のルートがあるのと同じように、開放弦の低いルートが使えます。慣れたフォームは2フレット分低く鳴ります。歌い手にとっては、全音の違いが、無理をして歌うか楽に歌えるかの分かれ目になることもあります。
また、弦を替えずに下げられる、ほぼ限界の低さでもあります。張力は約5分の1下がりますが、普通のセットで対応できます。これより下げるなら、たいてい太いゲージにすることになります。
録音では
D Standardで弾いているのは誰か
TuneLitに載っているD Standardの352曲のうち、180曲はNapalm Deathです。『Harmony Corruption』（1990年）と、『Enemy of the Music Business』（2000年）以降のすべての作品です。Sepulturaが65曲を加えます。『Chaos A.D.』（1993年）が初めてチューニングを下げたアルバムで、D Standardは、Andreas Kisserの2つの主なチューニングの1つであり続けました。Megadethは46曲で、Dave Mustaineの首の怪我のあとに作られた『Super Collider』（2013年）から、最後のセルフタイトルのアルバム（2026年）までです。
そのほかでは、アルバムの中の重い曲の目印になります。Panteraは『Vulgar Display of Power』の「Walk」でこれを取り入れ、『Reinventing the Steel』まで使い続けました。Metallicaは「The Thing That Should Not Be」と「Sad but True」で使っています。『Nevermind』では、「Come as You Are」「Lithium」「Drain You」が全音下げです。The Beatlesが使ったのは1曲だけです。「Yesterday」は、全音下げたギターでGのフォームで弾かれるので、実際の音はFになります。

演奏のヒント
D Standardで弾くには
Drop Dと混同しないでください。「Dチューニング」や「全音下げ」と書かれたタブ譜は、たいてい6本の弦すべてを指します。Drop Dが動かすのは、いちばん低い弦だけです。Panteraの録音はA 440よりもかなり低くなっているので、ほかのチューニングに手を出す前に、「チューニングする」ボタンがするように、基準のAをそのアルバムの測定値に合わせてください。
.010セットは、ここではゆるく感じ始めるので、1サイズ上げる人も多くいます。Dave Mustaineは、Eでの.010–.052から、Dでは.011–.054に変えています。ベースはD G C Fに下げます。1本のギターをDにしたままで、E Standardの曲を弾きたいなら、2フレットにカポをつけましょう。開放弦がE A D G B Eに戻ります。

チューナーはD2をどう聞き取るか
D Standardは、6弦のD2（73.42 Hz）まで下がります。スマホのマイクはD2をかすかにしか拾えません。当サイトのスマホマイクモデルでは、基音が6 dB小さくなって届きます。倍音から読み取ると、D2は誤差1 ¢以内に収まりました。
D Standard用のチューナーがない？
カポを使うコツ
お使いのチューナーがE Standardにしか対応していないときは、2フレットにカポをつけ、カポをつけたまま、いつもどおりE Standard（E A D G B E）にチューニングします。カポを外すと、開放弦がすべて全音下がり、D Standard（D G C F A D）になります。
カポをつけると弦が少し高くなるので、開放弦が数セント低くなることがあります。カポを外した状態で、1本ずつもう一度確認してください。このページのチューナーなら、D Standardを直接読み取れます。
弦の張力
弦と張力
6〜1弦：張力が約21%減ります（目安。同じ弦、同じスケール長の場合）。
ほとんどのプレーヤーは、いつもの弦のままで弾いています。いちばん低い弦がたるんだり、ビビったりするなら、その弦だけゲージを1段階太くしてください。

はい。D Standardとは、すべての弦がスタンダードより全音低いチューニングで、D G C F A Dです。タブ譜ではよく「全音下げ」と書かれます。コードフォームは変わらず、音だけが下がります。
D StandardをA = 432や442で使えますか？
はい。「A 440」のチップをタップして432か442を選ぶか、好きな値を入力してください。6弦は、A = 432で72.08 Hz、A = 442で73.75 Hzです。
